Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ProLane Driving School (“ProLane,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with this website, prolanedrivingschool.com. It does not apply to information collected in person, over the phone, or through third-party services except as described below.

ProLane uses SimplyBook.me, a third-party scheduling and business-management platform, to manage customer accounts, bookings, packages and memberships, and payments. SimplyBook is the sole source of truth for this information — ProLane does not maintain a separate customer database of its own.

When you create an account, book a lesson, or purchase a package through this website, the information you enter is sent directly to SimplyBook's systems via SimplyBook's API. SimplyBook's own handling of your information is governed by SimplyBook's privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

Depending on how you use this website, the following categories of information are collected and sent to SimplyBook on your behalf: your name, email address, and phone number; your account login information; the pickup address you provide when scheduling a lesson; booking and appointment details; and information about your packages, memberships, and remaining lesson sessions.

ProLane's servers can also read your invoice and payment status back from SimplyBook — for example, to confirm a purchase went through — but ProLane never receives or stores any payment card information itself, as described below.

ProLane does not store your password. When you sign up, log in, or change your password, it is sent directly to SimplyBook for verification or storage and is never saved or logged by ProLane's own systems.

After SimplyBook confirms your login, ProLane issues its own encrypted session cookie so you stay logged in on this website. That cookie contains only your SimplyBook client identifier and, where needed to let you manage your own bookings, a short-lived SimplyBook access token — never your password.

When you purchase a package, you're redirected to a payment checkout hosted by SimplyBook (currently processed through Stripe as SimplyBook's payment processor). Your payment card details are entered there, not on this website, and ProLane's servers never receive, transmit, or store your card information.

After a purchase, ProLane can see whether SimplyBook shows the invoice as paid, but not any underlying card details.

If you request a password reset, ProLane sends a one-time reset link to your email address using Resend, a transactional email service — this is the only email ProLane sends through this website, and it is never used for marketing. The link expires after 15 minutes and can only be used once; only a hashed, time-limited reference to the reset request is stored (in Netlify Blobs, described below), never the reset link itself or your password.

SimplyBook may separately send its own notification when your password is changed. That message comes from SimplyBook, not ProLane, and is outside our control.

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. As with most web hosting, Netlify may automatically log standard technical information, such as IP address and browser type, as part of normal website operation and security. Netlify also stores the short-lived password-reset references described above — never a password or a copy of your profile.

This website sets one cookie: an encrypted session cookie created when you log in, described under Passwords and Account Login above. This website does not use cookies for advertising or marketing. If you're redirected to SimplyBook's hosted checkout to complete a purchase, SimplyBook and its payment processor may set their own cookies as part of that experience, governed by their own policies. This website does not currently use any analytics, advertising, or visitor-tracking tools. ProLane does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Many ProLane students are teenagers. Where a student is a minor, we recommend that a parent or guardian be involved in creating any account or completing any scheduling through this website.

As noted, ProLane does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
